Kustom Kulture Blastoff
I'm Natalie and i've been working in beauty and make up for 22 years. I always wanted to work in the make up industry and so I began by studying beauty therapy at Clarendon College in Nottingham to mainly learn all about the skin and basic make up techniques. Following this course and taking A Levels in media studies and art history I went on to the University of Nottingham to study art history further. It was here where I learnt in depth about historical portraiture and photography techniques which still helps me in my work today.
To develop my make up skills even further I then went on to train at the London School of Make Up where I studied bridal make up and correcting techniques under make up artist Charlotte Issaacs. I also took an advanced course with skin care company Dermalogica to help deal with any skin conditions I may encounter whilst working with brides. To this day I continue to study art and colour theory in great depth enabling me to fully understand how to use colour to correct and compliment skin. I continue to closely watch the make up industry and attend masterclasses with top artists to keep up to date with the latest trends, products and techniques.
These days I specialise in bridal make up and 1:1 lessons, so whether you have a destination wedding and want to learn how to do your own wedding make up, want to learn how to make the most of your features or you're an existing or budding artist wanting the benefit of a private lesson I will be able to adapt a session to suit your needs.
My work has appeared in various bridal magazines, details of which can be found the the 'Publications" section of this site.
Please go to the contact section to drop me a message regarding wedding bookings, make up lessons, or make up for any special occasion you have coming up!
I'd love to hear from you!!
